Excellence in Website Design

yes well, I’ma bit disturbed at that aswell. Cactuslab do have the reputation for designing stuff that makes other designers cry! lol

M’lordy. dokimos has been 10 years on the web. Looks like they’ve stuck with the original design.
…MY GOD, they have a list of awards they’ve received. WOW, looks like there’s an entire geocities subculture built around it, like friending people on myspace.. you give me an award, and I’ll give you one back…I never knew… and squee of squees, all the awarding sites are just as elegantly designed!

I think you need to put a health warning on the link – I’m pretty sure that visual effects like that can bring on epileptic episodes.

Oh, you can laugh, but that’s actually what the interweb looked like – all of it, even corporate sites* – back in the mid ’90s.
As for the awards, this reminds me, I have awarded Spare Room the prestigious Stunning Kiwiz on the Web Golden Award.
* This is not really much of an exageration.
