Reasons To Lay Off The Cheese and Drive Like a Nana

This nifty graphic shows the odds of dying are in fact 100%, but then extrapolates the odds of succumbing to particular causes. And it appears highly unlikely that any of us will die from fireworks discharge (1 in 340,733) or surprisingly, even alcohol poisoning (1 in 10,048). Good old reliable heart disease (1 in 5) or a grisly car accident (1 in 84) are most likely to get us in the end.

It becomes quite cool to start combining probabilities.
What are the odds of dying from Alcohol Poisoning during an Earthquake? Now we know it is 1 in 1,176,892,096.
How about having a stroke while being legally executed? 1 in 1,259,232.
Still better than the odds of winning Lotto!!
