What could be more romantic? The Daily Mail reports an amazing archaeological discovery at Mantua, northern Italy. The skeletons of a young couple locked in a tender embrace, one that has endured for more than 5,000 years.

    Ahhhhh!… How sweet. Why the hell didn’t they hold off publishing the photo until Feb 14?

    Of course we have to remember that they were probably BRUTALLY MURDERED and PLACED in this position. Maybe their killers knew they couldn’t stand each other and thought it would be a good laugh to entangle them in death so that they would never be free of each other. Bah! Humbug!

    P.S. If my wife think she is getting a Valentine’s Day present then, sadly… she is probably right. ;-)

    Yes, they should have saved it for Valentine’s Day. At first, it seems so sweet. Then one wonders if the two were buried alive.
