The New Fiat 500

The VW Beetle, the BMW Mini, and the Vespa have all been relaunched with an updated design, now it’s the turn of the Fiat 500, more commonly known as the Bambina. The original Fiat 500 was first launched in July 1957, and this new model is scheduled for a commercial debut in September 2007.
The new design seems to embrace the look and aesthetic of the original, while leaping into that “city car” market that it helped to pioneer. And although it sits nicely alongside the other classics mentioned above, word is that the price tag will be a lot lower.
