gossipsRachel Glucina’s mum Drew is suing her daughter’s gossip rival Bridget Saunders.

According to the scoop in the NZ Herald, Sunday Star-Times columnist Saunders has allegedly been saying that Drew Glucina, mother of Herald on Sunday columnist Rachel Glucina, is behind a nasty letter sent to her with an unflattering photo montage. Glucina’s mum says it’s not true and is suing Saunders for $100,000 — for threatening to send a restraining order and gossiping about it at parties — which sets a dangerous precedent for the ladies and their rival publications.

Isn’t the one on the left the one that Sir Mick refused to shag?

  • Ming says:

I despise that withered old crone who writes for the SST. I dont think I have read a more vacuous or less inspired column in my life. So I suppose I grudgingly pick the other bird.

  • Ming says:

Actually reading the SST one feels like eavesdropping on two 14 year old girls on the school bus. I don’t quite know what Aja Rock did wrong or Charlotte Dawson did right in Ms Saunders’ struggling little cerebral cortex, but I do know I wouldnt know who the hell they were without her

  • Mr Laughable says:

Why on God’s green earth do we even have gossip columists in NZ, at these parties there isn’t even a genuine celebrity there, other than the god-awful oliver driver the most arrogant man in NZ media…but not a celebrity

  • Mrs Smith says:

The photo Ms Glucina uses for her column is terribly misleading. A more up-to-date picture is called for.

  • Jess says:

YAY!!! go Aja Rock, Bridget is a horrible person who says horrible things about everyone. She seems unhappy and bitter. And finally someone stood upto her!

  • Maria says:

Gossip columnist Bridget Saunders is one of a rare breed whose full-time job is to attend parties, gathering the secrets of New Zealand’s glitterati. Her column in the Auckland section of the Sunday Star-Times is read with equal parts fear and fascination. Bridget’s journalism career was launched when she wrote an account of fleeing a volcanic eruption in Papua New Guinea.

–Uh heem “rare breed” is right, still can’t work out what breed exactly !

  • DDee says:

Oh thank god for young imported beauties like Aja.
    And-
Isn’t it about time Bridget stepped aside was replaced by someone is is ‘actually’ in the scene.
She doesn’t fit in with the people, places, fashions or parties she writes about.
    Score: 0 street cred

i don’t even know which is which

  • Hadrian says:

I wouldn’t read SST. It’s a sensationalist, muck racking rag. Rachel said she looks like a whale in her pic with Kylie (O.K. I admit I read the SST online) Until today I did not know either gossip columnist existed & look forward to not remembering them tomorrow.
