Now that’s a Tretchikoff! These retro pop culture murals from Surface View in the UK are wonderful. The range includes images from the Victoria and Albert museum, The Land of Lost Art (this is the best), Photography and Ephemera.

Ladies and Gents: public restroom signs from around the world.

Kylie mistaken for waitress.

Worst rapper names.

A blogger reckons Reuters has a misogynist bent in their “odd news”.

“In recent months, I’ve read under the heading of “Odd News” stories about a man branding his wife with a hot iron, a man coercing his wife into having plastic surgery to look like his deceased first wife, wives/girlfriends/exes being held against their will in various “odd” places including a coffin, women being traded for “odd” objects or offered as reparations for “odd” transgressions, “odd” forms of abuse against women, and women doing notable things good and bad, that, while newsworthy, only seem to be “odd-worthy” because they were done by women, all reported alongside such frivolous fare as Chocoholic squirrel steals treats from shop.”

Scheming cows: This dating site’s advice columnist divides men into eight categories to try and help women find the marrying type. Our favourite is type six… “Sissy or crushed. Both can be easily married by any woman.”

Worst rapper names- – it looks like they left off my fave… MC Pooh Man.

you beat me to it! I mean what was he thinking?! (and indeed his fan/s?)

Since when was Gnarls Barkley considered a ‘rapper’?

Did someone with English as a third language write the dating site copy? This is possibly the worst/best example: “If man had an experience of divorce, something always breaks in him. He knows that everything will pass – even a great love, therefore, they always can stand.” What breaks in him – his collarbone? They can always stand what? The heat in the kitchen? On their heads?

The ferret ad – brilliant! And I even remembered the product they were selling…

I love the ferret ad, I had ferrets, they were very sweet, and not at all interested in chainsaws, but loved chasing people – (and each other), and love wrestling – very mischeivous little imps, they had lovely natures.
