art and objectAuckland’s funky new auction house Art + Object is hosting their inaugural 20th century popular culture auction tomorrow, Saturday 11 August. Items going under the hammer include film, band and tourism posters, musical instruments (including a rare carved Fender guitar) and records, and a dedicated fan’s collection of backstage passes. They also have jukeboxes, a range of retail neon, rare toys and retro Kiwiana. Catalogue via PDF here.

    All clowns are evil and should die.

    Baby Cage is actually less ridiculous when you compare it to some of the other inventions on that site. My favourite, the Big Hair Hat.

    I’ll agree that clowns are irritating, but this lady needs to grow up. That stuffed toy of hers is creepier than the clown!
