Passed Out In An Empty Bath

A Facebook group called 30 Reasons Girls Should Call It A Night includes nearly 5000 pictures of drunk young women – some are of fuelled exuberance and silliness and some are a bit more disturbing (posed with bottle/re-enacting sexual positions/passed out) but most are the same snaps of drunken revelry we’ve all got stashed in the bottom drawer from our university days, which at the time seemed hilarious and now are not so. Is it any different from young men glorifying their drunken antics? The young woman in this photo, passed out in an empty bath with her skirt hitched up makes me think yes, kinda.
After being published in The Daily Mail along with a story pretending to be concerned about female drinking, the subject of the photo seems okay with her exposure, writing on the group’s message board, “haha … never expected to be in a UK newspaper when I posted pics here…almost famous I guess.” Log on to Facebook and then go here.
