prince-phillipRenowned for saying the wrong things, the Queen’s other half Prince Philip says the world food crisis is “a little embarrassing for everybody, no one quite knows how to handle it.” He explains that the cost of food is increasing, not because there is not enough food, but because there are too many people.

So Cyclone Nargis did the world a favour then?

Apparently, the Duke of Edinburgh agreed to the fly-on-the-wall documentary The Duke: A Portrait of Prince Philip airing on UK TV this week because he was worried about his gaffe-prone and grumpy image and wanted a “legacy” film about his life, according to the Times.

Maybe this hilarious clip from the BBC show, Mock The Week, will be the best legacy he could hope for…
