Advice from the 70s world of advertising
Less sex: The company which came up with the lurid yellow billboard asking motorists in Auckland if they would like more sex has found a nice euphemism for its Sydney site, after complaints that the word “sex” was too direct.
What the kids are into: The next big thing on the skater scene is a new sport called Extreme Skipping.
They’re baaack! I’m sure I remember my mother having a pair of high-heeled sneakers in the 80s and it seems they are making a style comeback.

Kiteboarder’s close encounter with a huge whale in NSW:
“Seconds after this photo was snapped remotely by David’s camera, mounted on the kite apparatus, the whale flicked up its tail and gave him an almighty blow on the back of his head.”
A British academic publisher announced a new scholarly journal and blog called Celebrity Studies, which will cover “celebrity worship syndrome’, the impact of celebrity suicides, narcissism and celebrities, and public attitudes to pop stars…”

Just FYI Ana, TV3/C4 hasn’t been “CanWest” for quite a while – now just MediaWorks. Totally agree with you about their media player though

I hate TV3’s site. Their media player is atrocious – I’d call it third world rate but that would be an insult to the third world.
