NZ Extreme Fisherman on Letterman

Bay of Islands fisherman Matt Watson, who fronts the ITM Fishing Show on TV3, appeared on Late Show with David Letterman this week. Watson was whisked off to New York City after producers spotted his video clips online. He chatted with Dave about his background as a roofing contractor and revealed his talks with the Discovery Channel. Could the US be looking to Australasia for another Steve Irwin? Of course they are. Check out his interview with Letterman, and footage of his spectacular marlin wrestling moves, below.

Very interesting interview. I cannot imagine a type of person jumping from a helicopter into the ocean to wrestle a marlin. Some people will do anything to keep from working.
