Shut Up and Dance Stefano

Viewers of TV One’s Dancing With The Stars are well used to the subtle-as-a-brick sexual innuendo of Candy Lane and the clever and calculated ribald missives of Alison Leonard, but last night it was a dancer’s turn to get carried away with some misguided filth.
Last night, in her best luuvie voice, brimming with affectation, actor Geraldine Brophy performed this little rehearsed vote-winning patter post dance:
“I would like to thank Ali, for last week suggesting in my multiple animal metaphors that I was as a bumble bee,” she said breathlessly. “This evening I have come as a bumble bee. Stefano is my stamen. Thanks you very much or if you will I am an over-ripe banana and (to Stefano) you’re a bent one”.
At which point Stefano quipped:
”If you’ve come as a bumble bee, I was going to say I’ve cum in my pants, but I won’t.”
…Jason Gunn, the judges and probably the producers were dumbfounded.
And maybe a bit mortified, because the liveblogger of DWTS online at tvnz.co.nz couldn’t quite bring themselves to repeat it, but did say…
”Whoa… Geraldine finished the dance between Stefano’s legs! Crikey… what Stefano said next simply cannot be repeated.”
Hilarious. You have to see it to believe it … Please someone You Tube it! (On Demand only has their dancing not the patter.)

I was a bit stunned too… I kept thinking one other level it worked on… and couldn’t find it… he simply must’ve meant exactly what he said. Bizarre…

My gosh, i laughed and laughed when I heard it. I think the G rated interpretation of his comment is to her ‘I’ve come (dressed) as a bumble bee’ was ‘I’ve come (dressed) in my pants’. But the seed of sexual innuendo had already been planted and the mind was set to dirty. Hilarius none the less.
