That five octaves thing has been bizarrely popular. There are innumerable examples of delusional folk doing this all over youtube, but this down home country boy has captured the imagination of the world for some reason. Fail is right.

Okay, by my reckoning 5 Octaves should equate to a scale of 40 notes.
Shane got about 7. Better luck next time, though if he tries this again he looks as if he could have some kind of aneurysm so probably not advisable.

all of those last notes are practically the same.. don’t think it counts as singing 7 octaves if none of the notes are on pitch..
