Unreal Estate: Discerning property at…Sandpit? They of course mean Sandspit, north of Auckland. Doh!

Too sexy for TV host: Mad Men’s Christina Hendricks tells a male TV host where she was when she found out about her Emmy nod (running a bath) and he just can’t get that image out of his head…(BTW Here’s a picture of Hendricks from her high school days that has just surfaced)

Picture this: Celestial Soul Portraits by Erial – just beauuutiful…

You send Erial a high-quality photo of yourself – an image that you feel is highly representative of “the real you”….Erial meditates and “tunes into you”, to “get your unique Essence”. Once Erial really “gets who you are”, then, starting from the image you provided, he magically transforms it into a Celestial Soul Portrait of you!

Strange products: Japanese Food iPhone covers are Oarsum. Especially the bacon and egg cover.

Picture this: Although the concept of year book photos is America, if we think of Kiwi School pictures then we can relate to the blog, Bad Yearbook Photos.

Hungry? The fattiest meals in the USA.

Celebrities: Real names of a whole lot of famous folk (of course you’d change it). There are a heap of them – many I didn’t know – here.

Video: Men stripping just looks silly, but in the 80s hunky beefcakes with long hair, dressed as policemen did nationwide tours gyrating for the ladies. Points to note in this clip; protein makes Tanya’s nipple errect and the Cop can really pop n’ lock.

Hmmm…not sure that Harveys one is a mistake. It would take a whole lot of stupid to get that past design, prepress approvals etc. I suspect it’s just an ambigous reference to Sandspit being your own private ’sandpit’ or something.

It must be a mistake or there would be a cheesy copy line to support it.

But it reminds me of a story a typesetter once told me. On a supermarket newspaper DPS ad was a hero offer on coconuts in 120pt bold type but the ‘o’ was missed and the ‘n’ and ‘u’ were transposed. It went through all the checks and was missed.

BTW Ana. The sign in here link is 404 bung.

I like how the fattiest meals of the US say that these are basically typical meals. Nearly all of these are extreme foods made as a joke. And for ME, NH, RI, MA the worst they could come up with for my local states are: lobster rolls (which have very little mayo in them since they are all about the lobster), clam chowder (if made correctly it isn’t full of cream), a hot dog, and a chocolate chip cookie??
