Celebrity news: Warner Brothers is suing a Swiss condom maker for a brand of sexual sheathing called Harry Popper. The condom illustration on the packaging wears Harry Potter’s trademark round glasses along with brandishing a wand and a devilish look. Who would buy a condom with the name ‘popper’ anyway? Rugby World Cup Hype: Good to see Jordan Luck making a bit more cash out of Air NZ with their new World Cup-ready in-flight safety video (Warning: a barrage of tiresome, unsubtle rugby/All Black references throughout and a surprise streaker at the end)

Oh jeez that video sucks. It made me teary at work. And I don’t even have my period.

  • JodeciMaori says:

OK – there should be a bit more of a warning on that damned video! I’m at work dammit! NSFW will do. ohhh crap, the boys are coming!

  • Tim says:

Jeez- Would you like extra cheese with that video?!

  • Eve says:

Wee bit teary, but an up lifting way to start the day.

  • katydid says:

    It’s all very affecting.
I can’t help observing that a lot of grief both in Iraq and in the us would have been avoided if those soldiers had never gone away and never had to have those homecomings, Don’t forget those thousand or so who came home in bodybags

  • Jake says:

Jeez Katydid… there’s always someone who has to rain on the parade.
While you’re at it, why don’t you think about all the people who die of cancer, or are murdered, or abused, or didn’t get french fries with their combo.
Damn, I’d never smile again if I had to address every wrong doing which contributed to my happiness.
    Lighten up cuz.

  • Jon says:

Was that meant to elicit an emotional response……..I think not.

  • Travelgirl says:

This is a great video, made me really teary at work. Katydid you’re right there are many who did not have a chance to have a happy reunion but they gave their lives to help others. Jake take it easy we all know life isn’t all roses but those who gave their lives need to be respected and remembered.

  • AKU says:

Meh – what is all the fuzz about? I get a reception like that every day when I come home from the office (;o)

  • NotsoToughGuy says:

Definitely a capital O for Oarsum. Whatever the rights and wrongs of the soldiers being there, it’s so great to see the reactions from their families. Obviously means a huge amount to have them home.

  • Tania says:

good to use in a drought

  • Kiwi -in-Canada says:

Thanks for the video. It has proved what I have known all long…I am a stoic. Bored after a few minutes.

  • Anna says:

why were there cameras following the reuniting of families anyway? talk about trespassing on personal moments

  • red cordial says:

@Anna – taking the embedded journalist to the next level. Just be thankful it was only the reunion with the kids, and not the wives, which have taken the phrase emBEDded to a level too far…

  • vinkredibLe says:

DAMMIT! This video is dangerous to my manliness….

  • Rachel says:

You ruined my make-up, damn you!

  • American girl says:

    win….cried ALL the way through…thanks!
