The trailer for the Casey Affleck-directed I’m Still Here: The Lost Years of Joaquin Phoenix has landed. Remember Phoenix announced he was giving up acting to take up rap? He also grew a beard and behaved crazy on Letterman. Affleck claims it’s for real but this still sounds like an elaborate Andy Kaufman/ Bruno type prank, rather than a serious descent into madness driven by the pressures of fame…

There was a fair amount of eye-rolling around here when it was announced that Seth Rogen would star in a feature film remake of The Green Hornet. But having seen the trailer, which is loaded with gadgets and gentle humour, I’m quite looking forward to it.

It’s directed by Michel Gondry, with Rogen starring as Britt Reid/The Green Hornet, a role played on 1960s television by Van Williams. Jay Chou plays Kato, the character that kick-started Bruce Lee’s career. Also in the cast: Cameron Diaz, Christoph Waltz (Inglourious Basterds), Ed Furlong and Edward James Olmos. Due to hit screens early in 2011. And it’s in 3D. Cool.
